MTA is partnering with the office of Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz to offer a day of workshops about educators and trauma, Monday, May 1, at Plimoth Plantation.
Plymouth County educators are invited. Educators from other areas will be admitted on a space available basis.
Target Audience: Teachers, education support professionals, principals, school adjustment counselors, school resource and law enforcement officers, school nurses, superintendents, deans and community partners.

Workshops Include:
- Helping Traumatized Children Learn
- Creating a Trauma-Sensitive Classroom Management Program (Elementary & Middle Schools)
- Providing Restorative and Accountable Behavior Supports and Interventions (Middle and High Schools)
The summit is free and made possible with a grant from the National Education Association (NEA).
