Registering to VOTE
Do you need to register to vote? Do you know someone who needs to register to vote? The following information should help make this process easier for you.
You may register to vote in Massachusetts if:
– You are a citizen of the United States;
– You are resident of Massachusetts; and
– You are not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction.
If you meet the above requirements, you may register to vote online here, by mail here, or in-person. The deadline to register to vote in any election or regular town meeting is twenty (20) days prior to the date of the election or meeting. The deadline to register to vote in a special town meeting is ten (10) days prior to the special town meeting.
