Please plan on attending the Union Skills Winter Conference, which will include a wide variety of 90-minute workshops related to the core activities of local unions. Offerings center on the Fund Our Future campaign, grievance handling, negotiations, member organizing, communications, employee rights, political action and more.
Locals are strongly encouraged to bring a group of members to participate in different training based on their roles and interests. This is a great opportunity for new activists to participate in an energizing statewide event while developing essential union skills.
Workshops will be held between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and we’ll cap off the day with a social from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
